Lunaret Montpellier

BIOLuM (UAR5261) brings together 440 people across three biology research units (CRBM, IGMM, and IRIM) and a level 3 containment laboratory (CEMIPAI).

By mobilizing complementary expertise in cell biology, genetics, immunology, infectiology, and biophysics, BIOLuM promotes an integrated approach to biological research.

This interdisciplinary synergy drives the discovery of new mechanisms of life and paves the way for promising advances in diagnostics and therapies, applicable to a wide range of human diseases—from cancer to infectious, genetic, or neurodegenerative disorders, including autism spectrum disorders.
